Infoplease
Good Afternoon Learners,
Today we learned how to use cooltoolsforschools.wikispaces.com to find different Web 2.0 tools that are fun and easy to use and will assist us in learning about Africa. The tool that we found most helpful was http://www.infoplease.com/, you guys just typed in Africa in the search box and accessed the encyclopedia and found wonder facts about Africa as well as an overview of it's history. Divided into groups of four and given fifteen minutes my amazing learners told their classmates about the geology and geography of Africa, climate, African people, economy and its history. I must say that I enjoyed seeing you guys working together and navigating in infoplease so effortlessly.

As you can tell from my title we are going to explore Africa for the next week. My hope is that by the end of this week my amazing learners will be able to teach someone else about what they learned about Africa. For instance, it's climate, the terrain, the different countries that colonized Africa, and alot more information.
